Growth in our underpants: Pants UK Ltd acquires Brighton based Sterling Clothing 

Manchester’s growing independent men’s underwear retailer “Pants” is proud to announce the acquisition of Sterling Clothing in a move that will see the company expand beyond just retail and into the design and manufacture of its own underwear lines.

Pants UK Ltd made the announcement today to acquire Sterling Clothing, a Brighton based premium men’s underwear brand which designs and manufactures its own underwear lines in Europe.

Sterling is all about “Britishness” – creating classic designs with modern premium quality fabrics.  It’s a contemporary brand but has traditional values and takes pride in quality and comfort above all else.  Sterling’s products are the height of luxury for the discerning modern man.

Sterling Clothing was launched in 2010, by three Brighton based entrepreneurs whose commitment to styling and attention to detail has seen the fledgling but premium brand grow from strength to strength.

‘Pants’ is Manchester’s premier men’s designer underwear store based in the vibrant Northern Quarter, well known for its creative qualities. ‘Pants’ was born out of a love of men’s designer underwear brands and a desire to bring original designer labels to one place on the high street.
