Dancing, a comedy set in a Manchester gay house-share, opens at Three Minute Theatre, Manchester, on 16th March 2017.

The play runs 16th-19th March 2017 at Three Minute Theatre, Afflecks Arcade, Manchester, M1 1JG. Tickets (£10/£8) are available from the link below and 0161 834 4517

Harry is a dancer - he needs a place to rent. Brian is a landlord - he needs the money. Triga is a porn star – kind of. And Betty the Dog needs worming.

Author David Thame, a regular writer for the Manchester Evening News, says: “It’s three guys trying to get on with their lives, in their different ways. But they all have to learn to change and somebody has to man-up – which is tricky if you don’t want to change, don’t agree what a man ought to do, or you prefer to do it in a blouse.”

The play is directed by Gina Frost and produced by John Topliff, founders of Three Minute Theatre (3MT), a venue which has championed new writing in Manchester.

3MT is the best of Manchester’s Northern Quarter – a DIY, independent 70-seat theatre and hothouse for new drama, poetry and comedy.

3MT was listed by The Guardian in July 2016 as one of the not-to-be-missed Manchester attractions.

The production is generously sponsored by Capital & Centric and Henry Boot Development’s Kampus development, a new apartment scheme in Manchester’s gay village at Aytoun Street.
