Brand new play The Fey

Brand new play The Fey

Bewilderbeastly Productions presents..The Fey

A Brand new play by Rylan Cavell

“The Fey is a near-future dystopian drama which explores the consequences of a society ruled by fear and ignorance. Set in a disturbingly familiar United Kingdom, it follows the story of Faye and her friends, all of whom are members of Manchester’s LGBTQ scene, as they try to survive in a country controlled by a ruthless totalitarian regime.

The arrival of a vicious new disease gives the government the excuse it needs to crack down on so called undesirables, starting with Faye and her friends.

Combining the spirit of Manchester with elements of V For Vendetta, 1984 and Children of Men, The Fey is thought provoking drama that will stay with you for a long time.”

The Fey is being performed as part of Manchester’s 'Queer We Are' festival.

The Kings Arms, Salford.
