Blu Peter is back

Qwerk August - Blu Peter

Blu Peter Est. 1993

Peter was very much a pioneer in the 90s and never afraid to try new things and pushing boundaries. He travelled the world - Europe, Asia - Hong Kong and Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

In the UK he was resident at 2 major gay clubs FF and Garage. FF was a legendary gay scene club a haven for gay discerning music lovers and the home of many shared experiences. Garage @ Heaven was the Friday night mega club which opened its doors to a more mixed gay crowd. Garage was also the home of Reactivate albums, as the promoters were James and Thomas from React. Peter's involvement was with compiling 4 of the series, no.10 being a legendary mix.

Over the years, Peter's style has always evolved. Music has also evolved so inevitably his sound is different... Or is it? The music may be different but his approach is the same. For the last 8-9 years peter has been making mixes, many of which are on Soundcloud or mixcloud - this also includes 2 retrospective mixes, original tracks and a remix of Moby's Go! which was done for fun. There is also a continuous version of the original album released in 1999 - Widescreen & Digital.

Currently, again working with James Horrocks from React on a project called Retrotech. The sound of Retrotech is Twisted deep funky techy electronic and atmospheric, with the ability to keep you on the edge of your seats! The inspiration for this is his collected years of experience. This sound is very much Blu Peter and although most of the music is more recent the quality is arguably even better but the aim is the same - dance with building excitement. In his own style
