The details have been announced for the first event of the year for 'House of Mint', which promises to be THE party to start the Summer off with a BANG!

Allister Whitehead is confirmed as their guest DJ,many remember him as a true legend from the Haçienda days.

Also, Mark Jones David Davinya Young and William Sizen Bell will playing the best of dance music, spanning the decades, all just for us!

At the last event, the team there raised over £3200 for George House Trust with every penny going directly to the charity. This 'House of Mint' event will be raising money for The Albert Kennedy Trust.

To date, they have already raised £7200 for A.K.T. and with your help Minters, they are hoping to smash the 10K mark!

They again return to Sub 101 on Sunday 30th April and will be starting the night at 10.30pm with Mark Jones playing all the original disco and club tunes from the 70's and 80's Manchester gay scene. He's an amazing DJ, Mark. Guaranteed to have you dancing from the moment you walk in!

From midnight, David 'Davinya' Young is back with an all vinyl, joyous and upbeat House music set. Davinya, returns with his eclectic and anthemic mix of tunes. The club was bouncing on Boxing day for him!

Next, a Manchester and Haçienda legend will be gracing the decks... Mr.Allister Whitehead. He started his DJ career way back in '87 and is celebrating 30 years this May as being one of the top 20 House DJ's on the planet! How Mint is he going to be!

Finishing the evening is 'Aftershock' resident DJ, William Sizen Bell playing Circuit & Progressive House and bringing everyone right up to date with his pumping sound for the boys to flex their muscles to maybe! William also plays at DADDi in Dublin and Damage, Amsterdam.
