Arthur Bostrom

Arthur Bostrom

An informal evening with Arthur Bostrom, best known for his role in the hit comedy 'Allo 'Allo!, talking about his life in theatre and TV.

Arthur is pleased to be Patron of the first Greater Manchester Fringe Festival: a month of comedy, drama and music which is a collaborative venture between venues, performers and ticketing.

I hope that by working together in this way everyone will benefit and help create a valuable early Summer pre-Edinburgh platform for the Arts in Manchester. Arthur has been an actor for thirty -five years. He is best known for the role of Crabtree, the vowel-mangling gendarme in the classic BBC comedy series ‘Allo ‘Allo!, appearing in seventy five episodes from 195 to 1992.

As well as five seasons in the West End and in Australia and New Zealand with the stage version of the show, he has appeared in plays in theatres all over the UK.
