A New Media Company Prioritises Affordability and a Personal Touch

Media veterans Helen Nugent, editor of Northern Soul web magazine and former Times journalist, and marketing consultant James Richardson have teamed up to launch Gatto Nero Media. This new company merges Nugent's extensive journalism and media training background with Richardson's marketing expertise to provide a unique set of services

Gatto Nero Media's focus is on making media resources accessible for businesses of all sizes, as well as individuals, arts organisations, and charities. They understand the hurdles clients can face and aim to break them down.

“Media training rates and website creation prices can be exorbitant. James and I are passionate about helping people and businesses access these services without paying the earth. And, as a friendly and approachable small team, we are dedicated to building trusted and straightforward relationships with our clients,” explains Helen Nugent, co-founder of Gatto Nero Media.

Deeply rooted in the community

Both Helen and James are active contributors to the local media scene. Helen has a long-standing relationship with Canal St. Media, hosting events in collaboration with them. James, deeply involved in the community, also serves as Canal St. Media's marketing consultant.

Gatto Nero Media offers a range of packages and bespoke plans designed to suit varying client needs. James Richardson, co-founder, expresses his excitement: “I’m really excited about the launch of Gatto Nero Media and very much looking forward to working with individuals and businesses in the North of England and further afield.”
