YOU'RE BARD: Improvised Shakespeare with a Side of Hilarity

YOU'RE BARD: Improvised Shakespeare with a Side of Hilarity

Brimming with surprises, the cast of You're Bard delivers a whirlwind 90 minutes of improvised comedy based on Shakespeare's greatest works. Expect a healthy dose of audience-fueled chaos! This show adds a splash of modern madness to the Shakespeare's plays and lets you steer the night, guaranteeing a hilarious and totally unique experience.

Our performance was a side-splitting rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Four actors, a brilliant compere, and enough energy to light up all of Sale! The fun starts with the audience picking everything, even the play itself, using a classic tombola (think numbered balls in a raffle drum).

The cast (Murray, Joe, Nate, Beth, and the delightful compere, Rachel) is the true gem. Sharp improv skills, spot-on accents, even a bit of singing—they have it all! We were in stitches over audience-inspired trust falls and a hauntingly good Lady Macbeth monologue.

The show thrives on crowd interaction. A shake of a Britney Spears photo (trust me, it's a clever Shake-speare pun!) sets things off, followed by a playground hilarity, drunken shenanigans, and even a hilarious take on the Scottish Parliament!

All in all, YOU'RE BARD is a guaranteed good time. Wild, witty, and delightfully unpredictable! And the fun doesn't stop here—this show is part of a UK-wide tour! Catch one of their five remaining performances; find tickets and more information at https://www.yourebard.co.uk/tickets/. If you're looking for a night of unique, laughter-filled theatre, YOU'RE BARD is absolutely worth seeing!
