Canal St Facebook threshold

After just 150 weeks since its launch,the Canal St Facebook page has just surpassed the 21,000 likes figure making it the third largest LGBT page in the UK.

Its 'Bigger Brother's' Attitude and Pink News both continue to dominate the platform from their London bases.

Originally formed to flow information across all areas of LGBT life for the North West region, the page has flourished together with its Sister site canal-st.co.uk Twitter and App platforms cummulatively reaching tens of thousands.

Spokeman Nick Coulthurst said "we are clearly delighted at the phenominal growth of the page and are looking forward to the continuing developments we have planned."
