I Dreamed a Dream
Many people know the Susan Boyle story and it was brought to life at The Palace Theatre
"I'm trying to be a professional singer - like Elaine Paige". Most people know the Susan Boyle story. Last night at The Palace Theatre it was brought to life thanks to the writing of Alan McHugh and Elaine C Smith Elaine best known for her portrayal of Mary Doll in Rab C Nesbitt also played Subo.
I feel sure that a lot of the audience will have been surprised by her singing voice. James Paterson Who played Susan's Dad and Karen Mann playing her Mam both had stunning singing voices. Add a great supporting cast and the result was a 'must see' show. The finale was the icing on the cake. Miss Susan Boyle, International Singing Sensation sang two songs. The effect was magical. You could, until the rapturous applause, hear a pin drop. I Dreamed a Dream you've got so many yeses I lost count.
The show runs until Sat. Click here for more
